In this pilot episode of Faith In Humanity Restored, host Lucciano Gamiz sits down with 2 high school juniors who felt like they could make a difference in their communities during COVID-19. As the harsh reality of the pandemic set in, 17 y.o Daniel Goldberg continued to brainstorm ways he could help before he eventually landed on the idea which would soon save 100s of lives. The idea? A grocery delivery service for the elderly and the immunocompromised--the two most at risk groups in regard to the coronavirus. In less than a few weeks, Danny developed a team and the business logistics and has been delivering groceries since March 2020. Now in 30+ cities, the team consisting mostly of Generation Z members has affectionately named their non-profit: "Zoomers to Boomers" and hopes to continue their relief efforts as long as their services are needed.
